Name of post: Constable [Unarmed Branch (UB) and Armed Branch (AB) ]

No of Posts: 6,662 Posts

Constable (UB): 2,391 Posts
Constable (AB): 4,271 Posts

Recruitment Authority: State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) Assam

Name of test: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST)

Date of Test: To be mentioned on Admit Card.

Date of Online Admit Card: From 8th August 2020

How to download Assam Police Constable Admit Card 2020:

a) Scroll down, go to Important Web Links.

b) Click on the Admit Card Download Link.

c) Enter Your Credentials as required.

d) Click on the Download Link.

e) Your admit card will be popped up; save/ print the same.

Candidates are requested to download their admit cards within the period mentioned above. After the above period, no admit card will be issued.

Assam Police has released an employment notification for the recruitment to the 451 posts of Constable /Guardsman (Grade-III) under Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards, Assam.

 Assam Police Constable Recruitment 2020 Details: 

Name of post: Constable /Guardsman (Grade-III)
No of posts: 451 [UR: 331, SC: 43, STH: 28, STP: 49]

Pay: Pay Scale of Rs. 14000-60500/-, with Grade pay of Rs 5600/-(Pay Band-II).

Assam Police Eligibility Criteria:

Age: 18 to 38 years as on 1st January of 2020 (i.e. the candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2002 and on or after 01.01.1982).
Relaxations : Upper age limit will be relaxed for:
(i) 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST(P) and ST(H).
(ii) 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.

Educational Qualification: H.S.L.C or Class X passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Other Qualification: Home Guards Training Certificate or NCC ‘A’ Certificate.

a) Physical Standards Tests (PST)
b) Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) and 
c) Written Test
